Perfect fit for Nest Hello transformer.
I brought this as I needed it to house my DIN mounted transformer for my Nest Hello doorbell 'Protek BT8-24 8VA' transformer. It fits perfectly. The housing has two snap-off half blanks (one each side). Remove these (neatly, a Stanley knife helps) to house the transformer. (See photos below). You may need to slightly file the edges where the half blanks were to remove any unevenness depending on well they came off. It has a plastic DIN rail which the transformer will clip onto. You'll need to snap off one semicircle on both ends of the housing to allow the wires to go through the unit to the transformer. Screw back plate to wall, clip on wired up transformer, put cover on and secure with screws supplied. The unit looks better in the flesh, than the photo. Good value. Recommend buy.

Useful small enxlosure
I required a DIN rail enclosure to mount a new transformer for my Ring doorbell and didn't want to have to open up the main consumer unit. This allowed me to use the existing alarm bell power feed but mount the supplied transformer directly onto the wall adjacent to the consumer unit. As Ring provide a DIN mounting transformer you need something like this to mount it. this was the correct size for the double width transformer and the best value I cold find.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
