Rock solid
Mine (2) have been up about 5 years now, and have "outlived" 6 lights connected to them ! Yes it's tight inside but not impossible to fit flush to the wall. Swap out the terminal block for 5A, or use Waco connectors. I've also mounted on a small water proof box and done the connections inside that, but both methods do work. Don’t buy cheap
Received this product on 3 August and installed same day. Security lights were operating at random and also during daylight, even though it was set for darkest mode. Good PIR switch
Does what it says on the tin. Sensitive PIR switch with about 180 degree scope and about 12metre range. Looks neat with internal wall screws and a clip-over body. could'nt get the cables in then encloser and i was an electrician ,not enough room inside,with the chock block cable connector.Had to modifie it and why an earth terminal when the earth goes no ware..very simple mistake in manufacture.It works but not to my satisfaction. Too light weight and flimsy. Cable space far too small.
PIR works well but difficult to install. IP65 rating looks ok but badly designed. Wall fixing plate is flimsy and flexes on brick work, making fixing and assembly difficult. Installation difficult if not impossible
The product itself isof good quality and value for money but the design of the unit cannot be recommended. The poor design is as a result of the mounting pegs for the connection strip. the strip mounting pegs and the strip location should be on the base plate and not in the body of the unit. Having it in the body makes the mounting difficult if not impossible.
