Works great! First project... Turned into a mini-chop saw using a 3D printed jig. Cuts 1/4" steel rods fast and easy.

Dremel Saw Max SM20 Better off without it.
The saw has no variable speed. The blades are proprietary and the plastic- wood blade grinds the material instead of sawing it. The open guide on the blade side of the saw is poor design. The closed guide is on the other side of the blade making it difficult to watch your cuts. The saw had difficulty cutting a laminate plank. Mine did not come with the allen wrench to install the blades and the vacuum cleaner tube that attaches to the saw is optional. Rotational speed is approx. 17,000 rpm and the saw heats up very quickly. I have had other Dremel products in the past which were good but this saw leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great little portable saw for small, fine work
This is a really robust and handy little saw! I needed something to make very smooth cuts in soft cedar and even the small skil saw was just too aggressive. This little saw was perfect for the job. It is light and easy to cart around in a tool kit but strong enough to go through wood up to 3/4” so is great for mouldings, baseboards, shingles, and so on. Very good seller
Very quick shipment. Product arrive as described. My problem is the product itself is difficult to work with. Go with a pheumatic model if you can (air compressor). Difficult to control. New or Refurbished, can't tell the difference!
The tool came shipped to withstand even the roughest package handling. When I finally got to the tool, I honestly could not tell if it was a brand new tool or one that had been refurbished. The only hint was that there was no owners manual or original packaging. I'm actually looking forward to starting a project that I've been putting off because of the retail price.
