4 stars. It's well built and will definitely slow down burglar's. Would have given it 5 stars but it was not long enough to span the distance between knobs. I suspect the standard distance here in USA may be longer than in UK. In order to make it work I used a 1.25 inch metal hole saw to remove about 1/4 inch from the U end. I camped the lock to my drill press table and ran the hole saw very, very slowly using lubricating oil to prevent wear on the saw blades. Spray painted, looks brand new, and fits the knobs (on the furthest set of lock teeth) perfectly.

Gives a lot of extra security and as it is designed to be seen from the outside it will act as a visible deterrent. Not seen these before but I think very good value and added piece of mind.

Well, it’s in use and doing it’s job , but, then as far as l am aware no one has tried to break in yet , the only extra l would ask for is another metal peg , so one can be placed before and after the handle with a padlock through each , the reason why l am making this suggestion is there is still a bit of play in the handle where the peg is, which l feel this would solve , l thought about buying a long padlock to do this , but, cannot get one to try it out .
