Cheap but well built and sounds good,
It is actually really nice. The only thing that I recommend is good cables and to avoid the mounted terminals, I ended up soldering the cables to the board from under the terminals, it reduced the noise A LOT. So far I tried GE, Westinghouse and Russian tubes and it sounds great with them, the stock tubes are OK but as good as old new stock ones. For the price this sounds great, it is in the actual sound path, so if you turn this off the sound fades alongside the temperature in the heater till total silence in like 15 seconds. So not a buffer so much as a preamp.
