    Perfect for Beginners, Children and the Infirm. Good fun for the more experienced enthusiast.

    This set can be snapped together in seconds, even by those with limited patience or physical adeptness. The built-in ballast and pre-wired 12 volt feeder rail, together with the rerailer (included) get you up and running in minimum time. This set can be put together and taken up again in a couple of minutes, so you could set it up on the dining table and enjoy three hours of train use after lunch, before disassembling it in time for tea! Quality is superb. The assembled loop looks good. Note that the curve radius is 6 inches - so you can only sensibly use small engines and short rolling stock. It is standard N gauge, though, so any make can be run on it, not just Kato rolling stock. No points are included, so the train can only go around and around. If you want to add interest, a point or two (turnout, to use the americanism) and a little more track will add a siding or bypass, vastly increasing the interest level. Kato products are widely available, albeit expensive. I have even ordered the more exotic items from Japan, and their deliveries took less than two weeks. Heartily recommended, but pricey.
