Perfect for Sony Android TV!!!
After attempting to get this specific version 1 model of PS Dualshock for my Sony Android TV for 2 times, this was the 3rd and final attempt. I'm sorry, but I am really not feeling that childish looking GREY-goose Logitech gamepad they recommend on Sony site. And I was over the moon when inside the box I found a clearly authentic PS Dualshok 4 v1, properly labeled and boxed that connected with my TV smoothly and in no time and been working great since. Great controller, but
The left analog stick has a relatively serious hardware problem. When pushed forward and then moved sideways (the most common way to use that stick, pretty much), it jumps around a lot. Some games are unplayable, like Dark Souls, some are quite annoying, like the Witcher 3, some work fine, like any 2d platformer. Great 95% of the time
It's lightweight, it has good battery power, and it seems fairly responsive - it does the job of a wireless controller excellently. But it does suddenly freeze on rare occasions (four times in seventy-five hours of use), at which point it can only be fixed using the rest button in a hollow deep in the back. If you don't have something suitably long and narrow at hand (pen tips won't do, at least not for the pens I use), then unless you have another controller handy, your console's effectively inoperable. Now that I've found a pointy thing that works, it's no more than a minor inconvenience (at least while I'm playing turn-based games), but the first time I was in a panic.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Now I know what you were thinking so I am going to tell you. Its the PS4 Dual Shock 4 controller. This controller has been designed to give you the most comfort when you are playing for hours and hours. I know what it is like . Sometimes my thumbs go numb. My wrists ache. I have forearms like Popeye. However I can only imagine what the pain would be like without this controller. My son has the xbox 360 and has always used the Nintendo controllers. As a result I have regularly used one of his controllers when we play on his machine. The shape of the controller for the 360 doesnt fit in my hand nearly as comfortably and after five minutes my hands are aching. I suppose its different horses for different courses and its what you are used to but if you want my opinion this is the best controller for comfort and dexterity. ok i bought this on a wednesday it came the next day very good the controller works ok but i have a feeling it might last 6 months as it is not a official ps4 controller it looks like one but dosen't fell like one the seems are not fitted toghether they have an edge to them not well made buttons feel off as well the start button is way to low nearly flat to the controller but all in all it works and if it last 6 months all well and good and the charging cable is way to short if you dont have a long one then you wont be able to play as the cable wuold have you sitting a foot from the tvVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

The controller is a great price verses a brand new one, sadly it was not put together correctly and one side has some sharp edges. another example of PS3 functionality. at first i didnt realize i need a motion controller as well as a move controller. you need both! absolutely fantastic, the move controller plugs into the usb plug and transfers functions to all the functions on the rifle. all the move functions become remote to the rifle. integrated controls. and you need the motion controller that plugs into the bottom for side to side and fwd back movements. makes it like call of duty (i do not have that game) but i have RESISTANCE and MIB alien crisis. and they play awsome. makes games like first person shooters totally playable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
