Best and fastest BBQ tool you ever need!
This is the real deal. Never let med down, always ready to provide an answer on the crucial core temp. Works really good just as an meat poking probe as well to feel the tenderness. A little to wide point for sous vide bags, there is a special variant for that available. If I bring stuff for a BBQ, I'll at least bring the Thermapen and my trusted stainless tongs! Get at least one, that's it.
