Disappointed that newer version isn't as good as the old one
I bought this model again because I LOVED the first one, had it almost ten years, took it everywhere. The original had many more pockets/compartments than the newer version, better dimensions, and was made or sturdier stuff. So, I'm disappointed with the newest version, which has fewer compartments and doesn't appear to be made of the same sturdy materials. I looked at perhaps 100 or more laptop briefcases while shopping, and thought I was getting the same product again. Not so.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is our second brief case of this type from this manufacturer that we have had. The first one lasted for in excess of 10 years before the handles frayed a little so time to get a new one! The retractable strap is really helpful for spreading the load of a heavy case onto a shoulder yet it doesn't get in the way when its not needed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
