    suitable for marmalade making

    Haven't actually got round to using the product, but looks absolutely right for making a small bundle of pips when making marmalade. The mash is open enough to let a lot of the 'gelatine' through, which is what usually I find the most difficult thing to do Looking forward to testing it out.

    The cheesecloth is quite thin, and I was using it to steam rice. It did not work well as the rice got stuck in the cheesecloth. I will be buying a thicker one somewhere on ebay. Perhaps for other uses better, but im unsure which ones

    Ideal for straining yogurt

    This cheesecloth has a very open weave compared to previous ones I’ve used, but when folded into four, it strains my home-made yogurt very well. I’d wondered if the fragile cotton threads would break, but the cheesecloth is standing up to use - and frequent washing - very well.
