Chipboard Heaven !
As with any flat-pack furniture made of chipboard is is VERY heavy. The three drawers can be put together anywhere, but the main carcass needs to be assembled in the room it is destined for - to save it being dragged around too much. There are no castors supplied for the base of the carcass, only four tiny button feet no more than 5mm high, which you have to hammer into the base of the chipboard sides. Therefore because there are no castors supplied moving the heavy carcass around after assembly will not be easy. Generally assembly is not difficult or challenging - it is just tedious and boring. The assembly instructions are 14 pages long! I have so far made up the three drawers and done all the pre-assembly work on the main carcass elements - and all I have to do now is assemble the carcass in the bedroom and I'm hoping that will go okay. Therefore you get what you pay for - and with some extra discount given to me by eBay - I paid just under £68.00 for this chest of drawers - which is exceptional value compared with fully assembled shop bought similar items. However just be aware of the amount of work you will have to undertake yourself to put it all together.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
