Amazing plots, characters and settings.
I love peter May, his attention to detail - the way he paints the scenery - it’s so beautifully crafted you feel that if you went to visit these places you’d know your way around instantly. The Enzo series is my favourite, the books are so cleverly written that each one could stand alone, however don’t do that, treat yourself! I read all night the first time I read one of his stories, I could not wait to get home to finish it the following day. I brought a take away for my family and disappeared into my room. I’m going to miss his stories when I’ve read them all, I love the way he just eases you into the plot and then grabs your attention, keeps your mind racing and your imagination leaping.
