  • Makes you often 'stop and think', a really great read!

Brilliant book, well written and really eightening without any of the hard to understand scientific data. We think we stand alone as a person, family unit, race, country or by our colour. This book really brings home how connected we all are and how unbelievably fortunate we are to be here. Over thousands of years our ancestors, struggled on during long and brutal climactic changes to keep coming back to what we know as Britian. A really great insight to very early human inhabitation of Britain, I thought the Red Lady of Paviland was old (it is) but in terms of habitation time line he is quite young on the time line. This is one book I will be only lending to people as it is not only a great reference but a great read It's remarkable we know so much about our origins.
