Whilst these crew might not be ideal for all cabs, being somewhat two dimensional and weighing next to nothing, I would recommend them for the cabs of tank engines.
Even it you remove the cab doors, as I do, I have found the chassis often intrudes into the space available. These are ideal if they face forward (driver, usually) or backwards (fireman as he shovels coal from the bunker or stands still having a well-earned rest)
The other plus point for me is that they can be painted on the sprue other than the black for their boots and caps.
Theses figures will be fine as they will be within the cab of an engine and only 50% can be seen. If you make track level videos you may want to upgrade the models but for the average model railway, when painted, they are ok.
These are great standing driver and fireman figures. They paint well with acrylics and enamels and really enhance my 009 scale locomotives. Pleased with purchase.
