  • Heart breaking and addictive I highly recommend

Book thief was recommended to me by a friend, and I have to say I was hooked from the very start. I was taken on a journey to nazi Germany, I laughed, cried and I felt every emotion each time I turned a page.. Being able to look through Liesel's eyes was truly an amazing experience that I will never forget.... making me see ww2 in a very different light.. However I cannot say the same about the film.. The movie let the book down massively Liesel's personality did not shine through nor did rudys.. but more disappointingly HANSON Hubbermann's love for liesel did not show as it does in the book itself...
