Solid sound machine/alarm clock combo
I spent a lot of time looking at alarm clocks here and on Amazon. This one is probably not for everyone but is PERFECT for my needs -- white noises as a sleep aid, a reliable clock, a reliable alarm, and easy to read time display. Surpassed all my expectations on those fronts, plus super nice quality, not flimsy like Homedic crapola. Best qualities: 1. choice of several nature sounds with decent sound quality and great volume control PLUS the sound can be set to play all night or as long as you want. 2. choice of wake-up beep, sound or FM radio. 3. 2 alarms so you can set for a couple or adjust 2 per day for your own needs 4. blue projector light is fantastic, easy to see at night 5. ability to dim light panel and overall lots of flexibility with all the settings to make it work just as you wish. The only minus with this machine is that you must read the documentation (manual) or you're doomed. I thought I could set just about any alarm clock in the world and was humbled. You MUST either read the included manual or download it but either way, you will save a LOT of time I wasted trying to figure out all the controls. lol So this model is not for people who get easily frustrated by buttons that need to be pressed in certain orders to set functions. Not too many options to select from
The Projection is not flexible, and the can't change the direction or angle. It is also very bright blue that creates a lot of light at night because of the brighter background. The brightness of clock display can be adjusted or even turned off but not the projection. The sounds on the other hand are very soothing and works great in gradual increase until it reaches the selected level (adjustable). in general, the device is good except for the projection brightness.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Attractive, but not recommended.
Setting the alarm/s is too complicated, the sounds are tinny and just as many of the reviews describe, the display is way too bright. The first night, my bedroom (which is a loft) was lit up as if a tv were on. Even the dimmest setting needs dimming film for those who like it dark. The old-time red displays may seem ugly and harsh, but served the purpose well. Also, you're suppose to be able to set the alarm to gradually rise in volume, but if you don't turn it off immediately it gets too loud too fast. Cannot sleep without my thunder.
The clock is annoyingly bright and thus hard to read, but the radio is great and I no longer want to sleep without the sound of a thunder storm. The speakers are exceptional for its size. It is not as confusing or difficult to set as the cube. The cube is better looking, I would rather this clock came in black. Love the white color and small footprint!
I replaced my old Hometics gray clock radio with sounds with this white one. I like it better because it takes a smaller footprint on the bedside table and my bedside table is white.. The functions work well except one that I hoped would work better, doesn't. The projected light will only project forward. If it's aimed at the ceiling, it's too blurry because it has to be aimed at an angle due to the lampshade. If can't be aimed at the nearby wall unless you want the whole clock radio facing the wall. It would be optimum if the projector piece would rotate 180 degrees.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

For the price its great, not sure what people are talking about that its hard to set up, its like any other clock lol The radio is really good and nice speaker for the size and price.The sounds are great and very relaxing.It is kinda bright at night but not bad, i enjoy it, so i don';t break a toe when getting out of bed and going to the bathroom at night lol Just turn it a little.The projector is cool and very adjustable,so if to bright from sum simply put a handtowel over the face at night, even tho i light it like that.Can not beat it for 20.If you got in store it would have been 2X more.Better then my moms expensive one.No other alarm type clock radio ever has my fav station clear..But this clock has great reception.Thats what i am most happy about.Great value good clock. This saved my sleep!

Best in its Class.
We had a very old version of this new product. This is 10 times better,the features are so much better quality, being smaller in size it takes less space on the might stand, the radio is better along with the sleep sounds.
