A great read for those interested in learning something new about the Bible.
It has everything that I never thought about. When I was a Christian, I was fixated on the so-called unconditional love of God but this book tears down this illusion. God is anything but loving and more a bloodthirsty tyrant looking to wipe out men, women and children. The stories I had read from the Bible I revered with awe and wonder but now I am repulsed by the actions of a being who only seems interested in killing, maiming or torturing people. I think this book is a very grounded and down to earth piece of writing that I would recommend any who believes in a "loving God" to read.
