Excellent key fob
After my original Saab key fob fell apart I was forced into finding a replacement. With so many types on the market I was confident to buy from this seller with the reviews I had read. It arrived within a couple of days and was really easy to take apart and put back together. Don't be afraid of taking your old key apart and removing the PCB and buttons, it's really easy. Key fob not working
The item arrived as stated on 4th October. No instructions but looked straight forward, however it doesn't work. I can only assume this is because the original has hard plastic pads built into the rubber but there is nothing similar in the replacement and without instructions to explain the difference I don't want to start messing with it. Decent quality for the price paid.
The fob case is a good replacement for the original. It arrived quickly and it was a simple job to transfer the circuit board and battery from the original. The fit of the key into the case is not quite as seemless as the original was, but then again this fob cost only a fraction of the price of a genuine Saab replacement. It works fine and for six quid it is a bargain. I will certainly buy another when my other original Saab key case disintegrates.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Incredible value and service!
I have to admit this was ordered with a degree of nervousness - it seemed so so cheap when compared to original manufacturer's model - and the thought of transferring the electronics myself filled me with just a little dread. How wrong I was! Even with my 'man fingers' and the fact I've never attempted anything like this before it was so very straightforward, in fact the whole process took minutes. I now how a hard-wearing, fully-functional remote fob which is now far better than the original which came with the car. (And yes - the useful tip that came with the fob {fit a slimline battery} was certainly worth following) Would I recommend? Quality replacement fob - good value.
I was not expecting the fob to be as good as the old damaged one but it turned out to be as good as the original. It's just a plastic case of course, and you have to swap over all the innards and the metal key itself, but it's easy to crack open the old one and delicately unclip the circuit board and move it over. Do the same with the battery and everything was fine. I bought two and one temporarily ceased to work but when I inserted it into the ignition it seemed to reset and was ok. To be fair, I think it's a dodgy electronic board, not the fob, as it's happened before. The other key has worked without a hitch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very poor quality
The glue on the logo doesn't work. I had to superglue the logos on. The carriage for the blade doesnt fit properly and gets pulled out when you pull the key out. I had to reuse the carriage from the original keys (cut out of the fob) and of the pair I bought, one reused carriage also needed gluing in. The best I can say is that the slug fits in the centre console and the swapped electronics will start the car.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Could not get it to close. Phoned up to be advised to use anther battery but have already taped the fobs closed to be able to use them. Not a happy camper. You ask if the quality is good. Is doing what is supposed to do
It s save me a small fortune . My Saab s 93 key had lost the buttons . And the car suddenly start behaving very weird. Mecanics said I ll have to change the power steering ecm or the alternator or the battery or ....
