This book is invaluable as it has all the different types of pastry with very clear instructions on how to make them. I am particularly interested in the hot water pastry for pork pies etc. The instructions and illustrations were brilliant. There are lots of different ideas for pies and puds that I will be trying out in the coming months. There are a lot of old fashioned recipes in the book that have a modern twist that make them fun. Altogether a good buy.
