Not to my taste
Its a decent enough story, well written, so far as it goes. But for me it suffers most from the ending, which was changed considerably for the film and very much for the better. The problem, for my taste, is that the book ends "all at sea". Essentially it is a section from a single long story split across several "separate" books.
