This is an excellent book on the sometimes tricky mother/daughter relationship. The author explains things very clearly and focuses on certain character traits which are present in narcissistic mothers. This is a difficult book to read, especially if you fall within the remit of having had a dysfunctional narcissistic mother. Easy to read but difficult to come to terms with what the pages hold, it is a totally enlightening book. It has allowed me to view my mother's behaviour in a different light and is allowing me to move forward and away from a lifetime's destructive patterns.
