The microwave is light weight, but sturdy and stable. It is not at all flimsy or cheaply made. It is compact in size, but very adequate for normal use. It fits nicely on a counter. The buttons are strong and easy to use. I find it is very stylish and nice looking. We have owned 5 or 6 microwaves in the last 30- years. this unit I would rate 9 out of 10. the 1200watt makes cooking much shorter than the 900watt that's more common at the discount stores. just the right size for our bakers rack 13.5" turntable makes this unit even better.
