Visually good looking but needs improvements.
after my trusted deep fire pit got too rusty to use, my wife saw the Brazier unit. It looked very nice, was very easy to build but has to be the worse for fires on non slightly or very windy days. Ash flies in all directions and covered everyone siting near by in all directions. The gaps were too big and large pieces of burning wood fell through the gaps and burnt or set fire to anything below it. My last one had a fine wire mesh, which is why I paid £50 ? This unit is very small opening at the top, so you cant put lots in it.
Its not all bad, the plus side is that it burns everything and the bottom doesn't have a lot of ash, partly because it has been blown everywhere !! The fire does give an even glow and heat but is short lived as the wind blowing burns it up quickly.
It does look good when you have pieces of wood stacked inside, the size of the wood cant be anything bigger then about 6 to 12 inches, as the unit topples over, if not evenly balanced.
So on hindsight, Id probably not buy the unit again, but why I have it, I have added chicken wire wrapped around it to help reduce the flying ash.
