It's All In The Setup
Very impressed with this tiny unit but was skeptical as to how well it would work when I first opened the sturdy box it was shipped in. I need not have worried as it managed to pick up all the freeview channels in a very poor reception area with only a few channels pixelating once in a while. However, the trick in getting this unit to work so well is how you set it up after downloading the PadTV software it uses from the Play Store. In a poor reception area it struggles to find channels with its own little antenna so the solution I tried was to unplug my TV aerial from my TV and then push the end of the antenna into the aerial plug. The device then scanned all available channels without problem and stored them and then was able to show all channels with it's own little antenna. Although only SD pictures and sound are very good quality. Would recommend.
