Ideal for using large hole saws with an SDS+ shank drill
This unique arbour (arbor to Americans) allows you to use a hole saw in an SDS Plus shank drill, i.e. without a Jacobs chuck. You would otherwise require an SDS to chuck adapter AND a regular hole saw arbour. My SDS hammer drill is my slowest most powerful drill so it's ideal for large sized holes saws (over 3"). It seems well made for the price and I expect it to be reasonably durable. My only comment is that the locating pins are a bit loose in their guide holes, so that if you unscrew the collar more than about half way, the pins can fall out the back and are a bit tricky to get back in. Once you are aware of this, you'll be OK. The pins seem to fit the holes in the hole saw OK, so the holes in the arbour likely slightly oversized. For this reason I'm giving it only 4 not 5 stars.
