Verizon Prepaid LG Optimus Zone 3G-4GB black Smartphone 4" TouchScreen phone
Excellent, inexpensive little phone! If you don't like hauling around a big bulky fragile mobile phone, and aren't too tech savvy, this is the phone for you! I got it because it has easy icons, easy drag and drop. Built-in Google Play (don't like) with Google Maps/GPS which is easiest to use and better than in more advanced models. Old school, easy, readable and easy to turn apps off with Task Manager (icon-put on front screen) saves battery. Mine is now 4 years old! Problem, no upgrade and less signal strength (maybe) in remote areas, such as rural area where I live. But then NOTHING works here well since digital signal stinks here! Since it has bouts without signal, battery usage has gone up with age and signal (Verizon) dead zones. Still, Love, love, love this thing!!!! Downside, it has one quirk. When you try to use recharging phone card to add minutes, screen does not stay on while trying to input numbers on card. So, I've resorted to laying the phone flat, putting it on speaker phone, then calling the 1-800 number or # to recharge. When prompted, touch number screen, and keep phone flat. I listen to prompts and press numbers. Without too much movement, you can charge it, or you could sign up for auto-pay and just have it debit your account monthly and skip the hassle of buying phone cards and fighting the off-on flickering of the screen!!! Outside, in sunlight, poor visibility because uses older glass type screen-which I actually prefer to new touch screens. This old glass just works, new glass sometimes takes swipe after swipe to answer a call, too complicated and overlapping of windows in texting and calling is annoying. This LG Optimus Zone is just a great little phone. I wish, like with Windows XP (excellent) vs. for example Windows 10 (stinks!), if the IT folks would just leave the good things about the good technology alone, and fix the security issues and quirks, customers would all be happier ... but then they couldn't sell you the new stuff (crap) I guess!!??Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Compact with intent of minimal usage
Doesn't hold a lot of memory even if you have an SD Card. Very basic phone. Small, compact, Good for only basic phone use. Battery has a good life .

Easy to use, awesome features!
Awesome phone, It is very easy to use! The built in, NON 3rd party app flash light alone ROCKS! We never really wanted a Smartphone, but this one changed our minds! The font can be set big enough to actually see! I actually don't mind texting now! (Except when driving of course!) I have used a friend's Iphone, and I would much rather use this one! The price is amazing! I love being able to add with ease, our own ringtones, we made form our original songs! The dual camera rocks! The wifi works great! Not sure about how well the 4G is, because 4G is not available here. Games load, fast, and work very well! transferring our contact list, via Bluetooth, was easy, and painless! Overall good device
I only use this phone for the wifi, android, music and camera, not for making or receiving calls. For that, it works well. I like the compact size. The videos are to my liking as I mount it on my bicycle when riding. Much less expensive than a GoPro and the colors are quite good. The 32GB sd card installed allows for storage of lots of pictures and videos which can be easily transferred to PC. Lightweight and does what I need
I just needed a cheap, but reasonably powerful phone to run a few apps that I did not want to run on my iPhone. This phone comes to the rescue. I do have to restart the phone every once in a while due to its limited memory. Despite of this, this phone still fulfills what I needed it for. Rugged and Compact Good Starter Phone
This phone is a good deal with the first month free. It does come already activated with a new # and you have to contact Verizon to have it switched to your current number, which was easy if you use their chat option instead of calling. When it asks you to activate when using the phone the first time choose to program instead or you will be forever trying to activate an already activated phone! Good quality for someone that does manual labor and is a newbie to smart phones. Add an sd card for more storage and you are all good. Phone does not have much internal storage bit if you are just doing email, fb, etc you will be fine. $40 plan for unlimited talk and text + 3 GB data is a good deal!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Love this phone!
Phone works great, almost straight out of the box! 5 minute set up and you're on your way to a great experience! We bought 2 of these for our sons and I had to get one for myself. Simple to use and fast! Wifi allows you to selectively use your cel data. Facebook, youtube, crackle and hulu stream awesomely from this little device. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Why pay for an expensive IPhone when you get the same features from this inexpensive phone? I can't express enough what a GREAT value this little phone is.
