Pop Goes The Easel
With a total of 65 tracks of some memorable music based films of the sixties, this double CD is outstanding value. The full music content of It's Trad Dad, Play it Cool, Just For Fun and Pop Goes the Easel should please anyone with a taste of sixties music, with artists including Billy Fury, Shane Fenton, Helen Shapiro, John Leyton, Chubby Checker, Gene Vincent and many more and the four Anthony Newley tracks from Idle On Parade all on one CD are a real find. Other tracks from TV programmes and even Barbara Windsor with the title song from the Lionel Bart musical Sparrows Can't Sing are well worth hearing again. I'm delighted with this purchase.
