Have tried numerous brands of strings over the last few years and these at the price were a tremendous suprise, as good as some brands costing twice as much and better than some others at that cost, they are super bright so if you don't like a bright tone they may not be for you, but damn these things squeal.. they also stay rather clean unlike the Dead'arrios, i mean oops, d'addarios i use on my other guitars, if you are a greasy little mite like me then you melt through those strings quickly, these do exactly what they say with Anti rust, give them a go you will be pleasantly suprised.

Set of 4 Full size violin strings that cost me £7. The strings are adequate and very good value at only £7 I would recommend them for anyone on a tight budget with a cheap instrument. They are no where near as good as the Dominant or Tonica strings, that I regularly use, these Adagio strings are really for students/beginners. There is no plastic bridge sleeve included for the top E string, I used the one off my old E string. Most of the strings are slightly too long (especially the G) so you end up wrapping the string around the peg a lot, not just the coloured wound section. They are still Ok and easy to fit. The sound is bright enough when bowed hard but any lighter playing shows up inadequacy in the sound, really you just have to play fortissimo all the time to make them sound any good. No dynamics and no decent response to quieter playing. This may be Ok for some players that always play hard, they are loud enough. Basically you have to work hard to make the instrument sing but it can be done. For the price that is expected, I'm comparing them to strings that cost 4 or 5 times as much. I tried them out as an experiment for a week and a few playing sessions but I will change back to more expensive strings asap....lesson learnt, you get what you pay for! Also they have been slipping out of tune overnight..it is winter time I suppose! When the room temperature is stable during the day they do stay in tune. Read full review

Do not purchase these strings. The E Strings burst even before I tuned it up to the correct note. The loops unravelled as they are not secured properly. These strings are a very poor quality copy of other more well known reputable bands. Unfortunately in this case I discovered, buying cheaply was a mistake.

I have a heavy touch as a guitar player and use tone and tone and a half bends a lot . These strings are very robust, reliable and have not broken on me yet since I swapped over from S…r Sl…ys . The packaging is great and the strings are always fresh when out of the box. They keep their tone and I would therefore highly recommend
