When looking for a new pump I became of concern voiced by purchasers of other such pumps regarding product quality. It's early days yet, but this seems to be ok - in fact I bought it as have had a number of different Draper tools and it seems a reasonable brand. I'd not recommend it in the first instance because of the inaccuracy of the pressure gauge. My old one had a accurate gauge, and although there is a warning printed on this pump that the gauge reading should't be relied on, my thought is , then why bother fitting one? As I now have to check the readings with a separate accurate ('pencil') gauge, it makes the process more tedious, and I'll end up having to buy a replacement separate gauge as to use my existing one means having to remove the wheel trims; the rubber tube from the tyre to the valve is otherwise not long enough to provide room for proper fitting............... Bought to replace a previous version and it works well in the main but did not fit onto my current car valves easily for some reason, I didn't want to force it on though that may have worked, but decided to use a screw on connector on my 12 volt Ring inflator instead. The construction however is not that robust so would recommend using it on a firm surface ie not on uneven ground. I was disappointed to discover the output connection-bar is plastic so may be more at risk if used on uneven ground. I would have preferred to pay more for all metal construction.but overall happy with my purchase.
