The Citizen Grand Complication BZ0016-50E wristwatch for men can deliver function and style. Featuring a black, patterned dial, its design includes a rose gold titanium case and band with pops of red. This Eco-Drive watch can perform many functions beyond displaying the hour, minute, and second. Youj can measure up to 12 hours with its one quarter second chronograph, and estimate traveling speed with its tachymeter. It also has a minutes repeater and perpetual calendar. Able to withstand water up to 328 feet deep, it's an attractive yet rugged timepiece for all. Citizen, among the world's premier brands of watches, has designed this model for its Signature Collection.This Citizen Eco-Drive watch never needs a battery change. Sunlight and fluorescent light power its rechargeable cell. Exposing the watch face to direct light from either source only several hours each month is enough. The watch is constructed to operate for about one year after fully charged. Ensure the watch's temperature remains below 140 degrees Fahrenheit for best operation.The watch's round dial is big enough to house several handy features, some of which are found in three subdials. One subdial has a passing year indicator that shows the number of years since the most recent leap year. The year hand also serves as the chronograph's hour hand. Another subdial has a month hand that doubles as the chronograph's minute hand. The third subdial has a 24 hour hand and the timepiece's second hand. When in use, the chronograph's red second hand circles the watch's main dial. Pushing a button activates the chronograph indication mode, and timing starts and stops at the press of another button. The movement of some of the hands are designed to connect with others for automated progress.You can see the time easily thanks to this watch's anti reflective, dual coated, sapphire crystal and luminous hands. You won't always have to look at the Citizen Grand Complication to know the current hour and minute. Pressing a button reveals the time in chimes from the minutes repeater. High chimes count off the hour and low chimes the minute, with a combination representing a 15 minute period. You can estimate average speed with the tachymeter, seeing how long it takes to travel 1 km. Measuring speed from 60 to 400 km per hour, the device works when the watch is in chronograph indication mode. This Citizen watch also keeps track of the date and day for you. Its face includes the number of the current date and, in red, the abbreviated name of the current day. The other days' three letter abbreviations are in white. The perpetual calendar automatically keeps the data accurate. You can easily adjust for leap years and months with a different number of days.Attractive as jewelry, the rose gold titanium band sports two light red, narrow stripes. The bracelet length is the standard size for men's watches, and the band is 9/10 inch wide. Its safety fold over clasp includes a push button. Nice Watch, Minute Repeater.
This a comfortable light watch, due to it being made out of Titanium. I like it being a minute repeater, but can not for the life of me figure out why they have the repeater to ring on the secondary time read outs, and not for the primary time big hands of the watch. So if one wants the watch to minute repeater the main hands of the watch, you have to have the secondary time match the big hands time of the watch. That takes away the watches ability for a second time zone capability. Other than that, it's a nice watch, but a bit over priced.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
