Good jobs
Mike Rowe's book contains a series of articles building on the concept of honest work at good to high pay. While the TV show "Dirty Jobs" was sensational, his book fills in more details in both an informative and entertaining way. He is hitting a point that many of these jobs are unfilled because of prejudice compared to those who get a college education without employment based on it. There is just no other way to say it, Mike Rowe hits the nail on the head every time with this book (unlike the show, sometimes he missed the nail and hit his thumb). This is a timely piece of sanity that should be required reading from 9th grade up to and including the career college student (mom and dad paying for college for next 12 years? Cool!!!).
