Linux support could be improved
The printer prints nicely and scans well too, but because I use the Linux distro Debian, it took a while to get it working particularly the scanner. The manual and drivers on the disc provided with the MFC were for Windows and Mac, but not for Linux. I had to go online to find these things. I have to say though that the Brother support team were most helpful and it would have taken a lot longer to get it working without them. The printer worked relatively easily but the scanner was recalcitrant and took over a week of fiddling to get it right. My thanks again to the support team.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
