  • Farrah Abraham teenage dream book

This is a OK read if you want to learn more about Farrah & her first true love Derek, who is the father to Sophia but he sadly passed away before she was born. The book sheds very little light on Farrahs labour & how being a teenage mum is hard when you are a single parent,I think their was 20 pages dedicated to this & the rest of the book was about Farrah meeting Derek & their on/off relationship. You have to remember whilst reading the book Farrah was only 15/16yrs old therefore very immature & insecure when it comes to love. The relationship between Farrah & Derek was romantic & your typical 'first love' story however alot of games were played between the 2 teenagers which resulted in a 'on' 'off' relationship & Farrah deciding not to tell Derek she was pregnant would result in alot of guilt being carried by her as Derek passed away before Sophia was born, the book sharing the relationship could have been less graphic but I think it was Farrahs way to tell the world she loved Derek & regretted some of her decisions. It would have made a more interesting read if she had shared more of the labour & first few weeks a new mum instead of sharing how she partied hard, more could have been included about her parents & her relationship with them & focused less on the gritty details of her relationship with Derek which took up 3/4 of the whole book. Read it & make your own mind up......
