Perfect OEM fit
This is a replacement part for the back cover only of a Lexus key that has the remote functions built in. We have a Lexus GX 470 and the back cover broke because we dropped it. I removed the screw that holds the back cover and removed the back cover. This replacement back cover fit PERFECTLY on our 2004 GX470 key. Of course, we reused our front cover, metal key and electronics. Total repair time was 45 seconds.

Did Not Fit Properly
Even though I input all the year and model specific info required, I still received a key cover that looks great but has alignment tabs along the top that are too long for the mating side of the key cover and will not fully seat for a sealed fit. I wound up having to cut the tab size down just to get it to somewhat fit and allow me to barely get the screw back in the hole. Suspect this is NOT Lexus as stated since the bag was opened and the factory seal label was torn enough that all info was not legible. Do not recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Still have to modify
I will fit but you have to sand down the top part where it clips to make it fit. Its a little long on each side. If you don't mind modifying a little bit. I thought it was a automatic fit. I email the seller and asked him and he said yes. That's why I bought for a 99 Lexus GS 400.

Fits, works
Not much to write. It is a perfect fit and now my key fob stays together. Anyone who owns a Lexus should just go ahead and buy a couple because the OEM key back covers always crack around the screw hole after you drop them a few times. Good Quality product
Delivery was very quick, all the way to Hawaii. The cover slipped on perfectly. I like that it has the Lexus emblem, unlike some of the other cheaper covers. I looked at my other key to compare and found it had the same problem, crack around the screw hole. No problem. Just ordered another cover, with confidence.
