Battery charger
Good basic charger that does a reasonable job, my car has something draining its battery and if unused over a long weekend doesn’t have enough power to start the engine. Will get you going but not good for your Sealed Maintenance Free batteries.
After seeing a detailed review of this charger on Youtube it has two main problems. It claims to be a three stage charger but it isn't. It is just a traditional transformer/rectifier charger. There is no control electronics, Two of the LEDs are just wired to the supply sol always illuminate. It is not 4 Amp. It managed about 2 Amps. It has no cut off when charging so it will damage the battery if left connected for too long. For a typical car starting battery (50-60 Ah) it delivers too high a current during the absorption charge and damages the battery plates. The Green charged light comes on way too early long before the battery is fully charged.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
