A Very Good Deal
Very inexpensive kettle that looks like it could have cost 2/3 times more. (I actually bought a second to keep as a spare). Has all the usual features and the only downside is the slightly reduced power 2200w rather than the 3000w I had been used to. Given that you rarely stand and watch a kettle boil anyway, the reduced wattage is not that noticeable and I was quite pleased overall. Kettle review
You get what you pay for and takes to long to boil water. The plastic smell in side the kettle is still there after 2 and a half weeks use so far. Cheap and nasty kettle. Could find a few more words to describe it. When you shut the lid on it after filling it with water it makes a horrible click noie. My niece nearly knock it over just by touching it. A reasonably priced nice looking kettle with a hidden element making it easy to keep clean. It does take time to bring a full kettle to the boil but it’s reliable which is not always the case with other brands. Time will tell
The product works well enough despite having a lower rated heat setting than some kettles. It is now my "Standby kettle" for the next time a kettle breaks down. The previous one was an expensive model so you cannot judge how long they are going to last! Brilliant Basic Kettle.
This kettle is a good basic kettle. It is a standard size, has a good easy to hold grip and is well balanced. It is a little noisy but not overly so and boils well. I did not like the clunk when shutting the lid but have discovered if you push the 'open lid' button at the same time as pushing it closed,it closes silently. The window is a good size so you can easily see how much water it contains. I personally do not like the clear on/off switch (would have preferred it to be black) but this is purely for cosmetic reasons. Good Value
I wanted a stainless steel kettle but I also like to be able to see how full it is, so I wanted one with a window. This one was a very reasonable price, plus it's Currys so I figured it had to be reasonably dependable. The only flaw was that it tended to shut off as soon as it boiled, which I don't like, but they work on pressure, so I took filter out and it works perfectly. This is a great, simple good looking kettle. It boils water in the expected time based on the wattage of the product. Yes, some kettles will boil water slightly quicker, but will also take more electricity to do so. I was so impressed with mine that I bought a spare one. I highly recommend this kettle based on the price and quality. I have been using this kettle all day long since early December 2019 (that’s five months now) and it’s had heavy use (we are a family at home all day and regularly boiling water), so it’s definitely been tested well here. After 5 months of use it still works and looks like a new kettle. At 1.7 litre capacity it holds plenty of water if you need it, but generally I only boil small amounts, just enough for what I need. The stainless steel finish always looks great and wipes down and cleans well. All in all, if you are looking for a nice looking kettle at the right price, this one ticks all the boxes.
