Perfect fit!!
Carry mount fits perfectly with no wiggle on flat top carry handles. On pre bans with carry handle uppers I cannot comment on its fit. But I have a mount for one of those types and it would move about 1/16 even when tightened to a flat top carry handle. Aluminum construction and powder coated. For the $7 I paid. NcStar says it all. Quality as expected for this moderately priced addon. You could pay more for better quality, but are you really going to use it under the extreme conditions and beating it would take if you're not a run and shoot competitor? Fit is snug. Machining is perfect with coloration great for any matte black hardware for AR (bit shiny but that will change with use). Nice Piece!
Very precise fit in an NCStar carry handle. The precise fit makes me feel confident that I can install an optic on this rail, mount the assy on the carry handle, sight in, remove it, reinstall it, and still be almost exactly sighted in. I also have two 1980s vintage AR-15 rifles with integral handles. This rail is TOO WIDE for those '80s uppers. for the price its a no brainer
Its a great option for the A2 Handle it allows me to mount various optic while still keeping my iron sights Yes you can clearly see your sights, no post in way unlike other cheap models/versions I can remove my 4X32 scope and add it back on later and still have the same zero all aluminum construction with great coating for the price its a no brainer

This scope mount will allow you to easily have the ability to add a scope to a rifle with a non-removable fixed handle and no accessory rail. The opening below the mount allows you to still use the iron sights, so if you have a scope with a laser, you can use the iron sights to calibrate the laser, and then use the laser to calibrate the scope.
