Good but doesn't appear to better the original battery.
Works fine, fits tighter than original battery, not sure the claimed extra capacity is real in fact it seems to go down quickly at first then slow not linear like the original, perhaps the chemistry is giving a slightly lower voltage but seems to hold on well later so still good value!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Battery Controller Lies
Purchased this battery as a replacement for a 3yr old genuine Samsung Battery. Big mistake, charged battery to 100% with phone off before use. Noticed power drain was very quick. Down to 75% within an hour with no use. Checked again later to find battery on 35%, the phone then powered down and wod not restart. When plugging phone in again battery was reading 0%. Left it to charge back to 100% again and same cycle occurred... phone powers down at 35%. This is a cheap 2800mah battery with a reprogrammed cheap Chinese battery controller. Cheap - but very poor quality.
The battery is the correct size, and fits well, However, the performance leaves much to be desired. Having carefully followed the instructions on charging, once disconnected from the charger at 100% power, the battery reduces to 79% within an hour - without any significant use. Also, during use, if more than a couple of consecutive photographs with flash are taken, the phone crashes and will not restart unless the battery is removed and reinstalled a few minutes later. Overall, this supposedly high capacity battery performs worse than the old battery it replaced. Not fit for purpose I'm afraid.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as it first seems
This replacement battery when fully charged does really extend the use time of the phone. I had seen other reviews that said it drained very quickly and was no better than the original. After using it for a couple of weeks I have to admit that initially it does go down quickly from 100%. However that said once it gets down to about 60% it stays there for a lot of usage. That is what I mean by it is not as it first seems. I charge the phone at night and even after heavy use all day it still has between 30%-50% of its charge on a night. I also have a 7800mAh battery which came with its own larger back cover but it makes the phone bulky, When going to be far away I fit the bigger battery but when out locally I use this thinner and lighter 3800mAh battery. durable and long lasting
Bought this battery expecting it to be inferior to original Samsung but I'm very pleasantly surprised by how long lasting the battery is.. Worth a Fiver of anybody's money. In the bin

Poor battery
This battery tend to give me just over 2 hours screen on time. After charging it fully & discharging fully several times to try & calibrate it, I have resigned myself to the fact that the battery I threw away was nearly as good as this 1. After charging, it drops to 85pc within 10 or fifteen minutes, then I get the 2 hours before the phone switches off around 40pc.
