Ahh! Good Clean Water
Regrets for not getting back to you sooner. What was thought to be a clogged water filter was actually, a faulty relay to dispense water. It took some time to get the part for the repair. Once the repair was made the new filter was installed. Voila!! The filter works just fine. What a piece of Junk
Unlike the photo, mine came without a label. That should have been the first indication of a worthless item, something that no manufacturer would put their name on. Installed it about 9 PM. Awoke the next morning to a flooded refrigerator. Once I removed it I noticed that water readily ran out of it while the original retained it's water and you could not make the water come out unless it was plugged in. Save your $$ and put one that costs a little more and is one that the manufacturer is not ashamed to put their name on it!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product and simple to replace
I’ve been using these Kenmore direct replacements for 8 years now. They are expensive. But I’ve avoided the high price (since our Sears left town) by buying them off of eBay. This looks to be new and unused, though it's impossible to tell since there is no tamper-proof packaging and unlike a set of tires, there would be no signs of wear following use. I had little difficulty installing this because of a slight ridge on the cylinder. But once installed it seems to be working OK.
