I doubt you can buy a better new guitar for the money.
I got the guitar on a spare of the moment impulse, after seeing Satchel from steel panther shredding on it. I was a bit apprehensive, as Kramer was at large in the 80s, but it's no longer thought of as a premium brand it used to be. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, sound and just about every aspect of this instrument. It was well set up straight out of the box and with minimal tweaking, it plays exactly how I like it. The pull/push split potentiometer gives another sound dimension. In my opinion, the maple fretboard is amongst the best I've played, although it's a bit lighter in colour, it oozes quality and looks smart and shiny. I've owned a number of guitars over the years and this one is on par with much more expensive instruments.
