Even good (trade) plumbing suppliers rarely stock this, which otherwise means replacing the whole waste. Very good price, exactly as described, delivered quickly. My only (slight) negative is that, as in the original which rusted away, this item is chromed steel, so will probably eventually also rust. Would have been better in stainless or chromed brass but that is probably not manufactured. This item is as good as the original, which lasted 6 years, so cheap and simple to replace.

It's enough to do the job. When I came to replace the old one I thought I may need a new screwcap due to corrosion but a bit of WD40 got that off OK and a new one wasn't needed.

Perfect fit for my pop up sink plug, the arm that goes into the sink from underneath broke of, I only replaced the arm with ball on it.. The ball is slightly bigger on the new one but fitted good, no leaks, hand tight then quarter turn with mole grips. If you find it's to big and it leaks then put the rod into a drill and sand it down carefully checking size every now and then. Until its the same size as old one. My rod and ball size was 12 mm, the new one was 13 mm. But was OK. Just see how you go.
