Great light output.
Bought this because I'd broke 2 Gardner headlamps in quick succession. This feels a lot more sturdy and obviously due to its greater battery power has a stronger white light output. I wear it around my neck in the sleeping bag when night fishing for carp , pulling it up into position when diving out of the bivvy on getting a run, this is where the damage to the gardner lamp occurs. The puny plastic holding the headstrap in position snaps off. So far after a couple of runs at night the Viper has held out probably due to the plastic being thicker. It is quite comfortable on the head and doesn't feel unduly heavy owing to carrying heavier batteries. So far I can duly recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
