useful to trigger-on devices you want tied to on/off on something else, but lacks trigger current adjustment
usually works as intended, but lacking the ability to adjust the trigger-on current level it may or may not trigger with your appliance. For example, by LG OLED tv draws too much power in standby so the slave sockets are always on. For the price though, it is worth a try and will usually work as intended, but master socket needs a significant draw to turn off and on. I had a version of this in the USA where you could adjust the trigger current to match the specific appliance current draw, but this is a more basic productVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does not work as stated in manufacturers catalog
I bought this to control the power to a soundbar as the TV is switched into standby. However as the TV goes into standby the power to the soundbar starts flickering on and off. Despite yhe original manufacturer s catalog stating this is one of the suggested uses of the kit it does not work. Just brilliant
Found this and bought 2, they are ideal for the DIY 'r or pro. Plug the tool to be used in the master ans the hoover in the slave, attach the hoover hose to the tool and when you turn on the tool the hoover automatically comes on and stays on for about 3 seconds after you turn off the tool. Ideal for woodworking as it collects all the dust. This Master Slave auto power switch is well worth the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Problem solved

Good in the right operation.
The master socket seems to activate at about 6 watts at 240volt ac and turn off at around 4 watts. Very new flat tv's may drop below this 4 watt figure when totally dark image with no sound so anything plugged into the slave may turn off till the picture brightens. I tested with a plug in watt meter and low energy light bulbs so because of the effects of led bulb power factor the actual turn on wattage may be closer to 9 watts.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for automatically turning On workshop vacuum when power tool is switched On
Connect power tool to Master (grey) socket Connect Shop Vacuum to Slave (white) socket Turn power tool On - vacuum comes on automatically. Turn power tool Off - vacuum turns OFF automatically after 2-3 seconds Bear in mind - this switch was not designed for heavy load and will likely blow internal fuse (not serviceable) if total load (vacuum + power tool) exceeds 3500W or somewhere in that range.
