The late model M3 Stuart with riveted body and turret without cupola is realistically modeled based on actual vehicle interviews. There are a total of three types of markings: one type for the U.S. military and two types that were provided to the Soviet military.
Every modeller of a certain age will have fond memories of Tamiya's 1970's vintage M3 Stuart but this modern pressing is light years ahead (and correspondingly more expensive). It is typical Tamiya; beautifully engineered and guaranteed to produce a fine model, no matter what your level of experience is. Unlike the Academy M3s, no interior details are provided but little can be seen even with the hatches open. A choice of US and Soviet Army decals are supplied, the latter being a nice touch. Unfortunately there are no markings for the British or Commonwealth forces who were major users of the tank but it should be possible to source these from the spares box.
Another excellent kit from Tamiya. You can rely on really good fit of the parts, reasonable parts count and clear instructions from Tamiya, especially with there newer releases. Dragon could learn a lesson from Tamiya. Highly recommended especially at the price.
What an excellent little tank nice to build with enough oftb to keep most happy but the opening for more detailed work if that's your fort'e....recommended..
