LOVE It! Best Business Calculator EVER Made!
I LOVE my HP 19B II calculator! This is my third one in the last 29+ years. This calculator got me through a top ranked business program at a highly respected university. Plus, I’ve used it as part of my everyday life in the business world. It is the absolute best business calculator that I have ever used. It offers many integrated business functions. But among the most useful to me has been the Time Value of Money & Amortization table functions. Need to know the Present or Future Value of Money? No problem; the HP 19B II will do that for you. Need to know how much Interest over the life of a loan (or any time period for that matter) you will pay on any given business deal relative to another? This calculator does it in seconds. Just punch in your variables and calculate. It’s so easy! There are many other integrated business functions in this calculator that are also extremely useful. Business Execs & any business person that makes money decisions on a regular basis will fall in love with this incredible machine. If you need to routinely calculate other formulas, no problem there either. This device is completely programmable (complex or simple business formulas). There is no need to memorize every exact formula required for making decisions on your job! I now use my 19B II for calculating various Real Estate formulas & ratios necessary to make sound business decisions for both myself and my clients. No need to memorize a multitude of complex formulas to advise a client. I just program the formulas once, and forever after that, I punch in the values that the scenario dictates and let the 19B II give me the answers. It is even possible to combine several complex & related business formulas together and perform those calculations in one step vs 2, 3 or even 4 steps. Intelligent people don’t have to know every answer. They just have to know how to get them. The HP 19B II is an effective business tool that does just that. If you can find one with the battery bay door on the back, it’s rare, so grab it! The 19B II’s that have the battery bay door placed on the side tend to crack and break around the battery door over time. They’re still great to have, but duct tape might be necessary to preserve your investment after a few years! In closing, this little gem is just that. And like many other people that have owned the 19B II, We all wish that HP would re-release this incredible & easy to use business calculator just one more time. Today, those in great condition might cost a bit more than they did when they were brand new ($89 in 1990), but the ‘Time Value of Money’ function tells me the going prices today for one “like new” are mostly still worth it. ;) So, since these are no longer being manufactured, get one of those in great condition while you still can!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
