Despite having plenty of Hilka tools, I've always used Bosch electricals. Till it let me down over 100 miles away from home. The only cordless available to buy was a Hilka, grossly overpriced compared with Ebay but needs must. What a bloody revelation! Lightweight, more powerful, more settings and less charge time. With a Bosch I need 3 batteries. With the Hilka, I did all I needed on the charge it came with and it ran effortlessly for a few more days on a full charge. Ordered a spare battery and its genuine Hilka, not a cheap knock off. Charged last night and done about 4 hours work this morning, mostly wood drilling and screws, no hammer action but it shows no sign of needing recharge. I have about 4 hours still to do this pm and have no reason to believe I'll need to recharge either battery before finishing. With Bosch I'd have used all 3 this morning and would be desperately trying to charge them in time. Top quality, good value, and a British company to boot. Highly recommended.Read full review

It is good to have a spare battery, so that you can keep on working while the second battery is charging. It is lightweight (like the drill it belongs to), plenty of power, charges quickly and runs for a surprisingly long time. I am very pleased that I bought this battery.

It's a very nice battery , but as it doesn't fit my drill or charger it is absolutely no use to me ! £20.50 down the drain . Thank you very much . I now have a Hilka drill I can't use , a battery I can't use and a charger I can't use . What a rip off !
