Iso Acoustic speaker stands
Having used acoustic foam to stand my studio monitors on, i decided it was about time i gave them better isolation and invested in a pair of these R200. My Fostex PM2 sit on them perfectly and the sound improvement is obvious. I like the fact that they came with different adaptors so you can get them sitting at just the right height for your ear level and they are easy to assemble, they also look very nice and match my speakers perfectly for colour. Massive difference
I bought these after a friend brought his pair along to try underneath my Equator D8's, (he actually brought the 155's, which are slightly smaller) I was having trouble mixing the low end of some tunes, my room acoustics is ok, not amazing, and I have treated it. After listening to the mixes with the speakers on foam pads, we replaced them with the isoacoustics, the difference was heard instantly, with the clarity of the bass guitars notes, the low end was tighter, and the low mid clearer. I would recommend these to anyone, especially those on a budget who have got reasonably priced speakers, and a modest studio, but really need to hear what's going on in the low end of the music, without investing in the next level speakers. Or indeed anyone with a studio.. As far as £120 goes, there's not much you can buy for the studio that would make such a big difference.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
