Do not buy it makes digging harder work than it should compared to similar brands.
Although it is a good quality made item it is very heavy to use and does not cut into the soil when in use the blade is quite thick which gives it strength but is very blunt and is very hard to cut through heavy soil such as clay and needs to be stamped on to get it to go down spear and Jackson need to explore making the blade with a thinner higher quality steel of equal strength and a lighter polpropelene handle as done by other brands in summary I gave up using it due to the effort needed I bought it due to the quality of the brand but in hindsight I would have bought a lesser known brand with the characteristics I have mentioned above lighter and sharper and thinner high quality steel cutting blade.
