I've used the ASUS and the ASRock and this ASRock is rock solid as normal with their products. I used ASRock for my first RYZEN build because it was the only one with no problems. The other ones kept needing BIOS updates to make it work with 2 sticks of RAM or what ever. That's no longer a problem with any of them but in early 2017 it was all a bit new.
It's worth getting a reasonably good motherboard (MoBo) because you can then get the best performance from the RAM and CPU. RAM and CPU are the expensive parts so don't cheap out on the MoBo. If you get the X version of RYZEN it uses a lot more power so spend more on the MoBo because that's one of the difference.
Overclocked ryzen 1600 cpu to 4ghz and overclocked ram to 3200mhz. what more can i ask for, i did have to update the bios to 3.0 to get the ram to overclock but that was done easily form asrock website download (remember this is the m version). highly recommend!!!
Worth the money while pairing with a ryzen 2600, have lots of rear io ports, can connect upto 6 drives (& usable at the same time)
Can perform a bio upgrade and support ryzen 5000 series
This Motherboard is just perfect for an entry level build with so many options for upgrading as your budget gets bigger. Just like previous systems I have built around ASRock motherboards, it is very reliable, looks good and works even better.
