    Best Budget Ultrawide

Overall I have been very satisfied with the monitor. To be sure to preface this appropriately, I am not experienced with quality or performance displays, the best I've owned would be the built in display of my iMac. Purchased this to pair with my gaming laptop when at home and have been very satisfied with the results for casual use and gaming. Setup was a mixed review. Physically assembling the stand and monitor was very easy (even with the lack of instructions as they were only in Korean). Once assembled getting the display calibrated to my liking was more difficult. I literally had to download a Korean image translator on my phone to decipher the Korean default menu until I could find the language menu. Now that it is setup all works as smoothly as expected. Build quality is better than I expected from a cheap Korean monitor and can honestly say it looks clean on my computer desk and has a sturdy stand. Would have been nice to have adjustable height on the stand as tilt is the only option to adjust. Performance is really good for the price. It is my first time experiencing both 1440p or higher refresh rate. The 1440p resolution is nice for daily usage, and I LOVE that I can drop it down to 1080p and 144hz when I'm ready to get my game on. I don't think I'll be able to go back to 60hz gaming ever again. The ultrawide aspect ratio is great for gaming and I have found PUBG and other first person shooters to be awesome and immersive! I would recommend this monitor to anyone looking to dive into the ultrawide gaming at a very reasonable price.

    Great Monitor, almost perfect.

The Good: * Beautiful, vibrant picture. 100 Hz refresh rate. * Sturdy build. It's heavy. That means it's expensive. The Bad: * Settings menu in Korean, but there is a way to change it to English: Open the menu with the left-most button underside the monitor (push it twice to access the menu), select the last option there, then the first option, and you'll see an entry for "English" at the top. * You won't get full UHD unless you use a modern video card. Doesn't have to be a top-of-the-line, but has to list 3440 x 1440 or greater as a supported resolution. The listed video cards wont work as I had a GTX 480 and anything above 1920 x 1080 was blurred. Do not go by what dream-seller's list says as it's not entirely correct. Find a card that supports 3440 x 1440 or greater per the manufacturer's website. * Really bright at night and it would be nice if it had dynamic brightness. There's an option for "dynamic" but it doesn't work too well. Have some other ambient lighting source ready. * Every time the monitor comes on, it will display the input that's it's showing. This is annoying and an eye sore. Other monitors will display this in the top-right corner of the screen since it's not that important to know which input it being displayed, especially when you have only one video cable going into it. But this thing displays it right in the center and there's nothing you can do outside of making it slightly transparent. I'd really like them to issue a firmware update to fix this, but after speaking with the seller and even writing the manufacturer, I'm afraid this is not going to happen (but it's something you should expect when buying an item not designed for an American audience). * Can't adjust the height on the included stand, and no VESA support, unless you're willing to grind some of the metal off your mount. I ended up returning mine, but as others have said, you may find satisfaction with yours.

  • Multitasking and gaming BEAST!!!

I am extremely happy with this monitor and dream-seller (the responsive seller) I informed the seller that I am concerned about receiving a monitor with dead pixels or large amounts of back-light bleed. They messaged me back within 24 hours informing me that they will notify their warehouse to double check the monitor before shipping out my order. I received the monitor, set it up, and began running some tests. I did an extensive dead pixel test checking every corner and much to my amazement there is next to no back-light bleed and NO DEAD PIXELS AT ALL. I also performed a refresh rate test and it is working great, no issues to report. I did have to get out Google Translate on my phone and use the all Korean manual to find where the language selection is. Wasn't too much of an issue but the manual doesn't explicitly state how to change the language to English. The screen real estate is my main draw to this monitor. I went with this over two 27 inch monitors and I definitely made the right choice. This monitor is very immersive and curvature helps with multitasking without having to strain the neck. The bezels are small and the stand is a sturdy steel. I would have liked to see height adjustment, but I am okay without it. A 100 x 100 vesa mount can be used as well. Gaming on this monitor trumps any other way to play games. The refresh is great for FPS and open world games. It reduces the motion blur allowing me to play for longer sessions. Overall 4K gaming is not quite mainstream, and 1440p gaming seems to be the sweet spot for most games and budgets on PC. $499 may seem like a lot of money for one monitor. But this monitor is a great value and future proof for quite some time. It has a superb image and is extremely responsive. It is by far one of the best dollar per performance monitors out there and I am very happy with it.

  • Decent quality for price if you can live with a couple dead/dark pixels

Quality: Purchased two of these monitors now. One pixel perfect option, and one regular. While none of them had "dead" pixels in accordance with seller policy (they define it as bright dot in dark scene), there were a couple dark pixels (the actual definition of a dead pixel) which were visible when viewing a light background. Many people are reporting getting these monitors with PERFECT panels which I doubt. They are probably saying they have no dead "dead" pixels using the seller definition. Design: Subjective, but I think they look great. Very minimal bezels though note when the monitor is actually on the image doesn't go ALL the way to the physical bezels so they'll be a bit of extra black space around the edges of the screen. Decent IO in the back with HDMI, DP, and DVI. As with most built in monitor speakers, they are garbage. Performance: My Spyder5Pro calibrator says both of of monitors can do 99%SRGB so thats good. the 144Hz 1080p is a lie though, Awful frame skipping occurs which is even worse then 100Hz without. They really need to remove that these monitors can do 144Hz 1080p as an advertised picture since they cannot do this properly. I've tested this on both a 290x, a GTX 1070, and a GTX 1080. Conclusion: Decent for the price, if you're okay with have one ore two permanently black pixels off to the sides then I'd say go for it.

  • Great monitor

Very nice monitor. Default on-screen settings are in Korean, you gotta mess around with it to figure out how to change the language settings. Also the blue power LED on the bottom is too bright and it blinks annoyingly when the computer is in sleep mode, I covered it up with tape to solve that problem. Otherwise, 5 stars out of 5. Two month update: Still very pleased with the monitor. I calibrated the color/brightness settings as soon as I got it, but I was actually getting headaches from looking at the screen because it produces so much light. After a month I finally turned the brightness down from 80 to 45, and the issue seems to be resolved. Just bear in mind that a monitor this large produces a lot of light.

  • Best bang for your buck - totally worth it!

Ordered this before Black Friday and just got it. The only thing I disliked was the long shipping time but it was well worth the wait. The setup was easy and the curved display is amazing! Changing language to English is easy too (Leftmost click, 2nd from left click until you get to the last line of menu, leftmost click, leftmost click, 3rd from left click thrice, leftmost click, rightmost click to exit). Go into Windows display settings and set resolution to 3440x1440 and change from 60 Hz to 100 Hz. Then you’re all set. Didn’t even have to color calibrate mine! It’s an amazing monitor and for $499 it’s a steal. Absolutely love it and although I havea GTX 980, there is no tearing and I’m able to play everything just fine. Hope my detailed review helps someone out, cheers.

  • Amazing monitor

The monitor is really good. The 3440x1440x100Hz picture quality is perfect. No any problems with the screen or other surfaces. The monitor responds very well in games and have many pre-installed regimes for watching movies, work with text editors, to achieve good FPS etc. The only minor problem is the quality of the sound. But for sure, it is the problem of all PC monitors with the built-it speakers, just don't rely on it :) I'm definitely recommend this monitor. Many thanks for reading this review :)

  • No complaints

There was one dead pixel but the low price makes up for it. Plus you will barely notice a dead pixel with 1440p because the pixels are smaller than your standard 1080p monitor. This a great monitor for the price. The reason i went with this one and not others in the same $500 price range is because this was the only one that had VESA compatibility.

  • Possibly the best Ultrawide gaming montior for the price

This monitor is great! The response time is good, colours are good(after you have calibrated to your liking) and the overall quality of the monitor is good. It does the job, and it does it very well. I dont think there is any better ultrawide for the price (especially brand name ones) Only downsides of this monitor is the menu, its pretty hard to navigate but its doable. The real downside is "the pixel warranty" you MAY end up with a unit with a few dead of stuck pixels and lots of backlight bleed, the seller doesnt consider this as a fauly unit. But mine came pixel perfect with almost no backlight bleed. As far as i have read and looked around most people end up with pixel perfect displays, it is a small gamble but i would not let this steer you away from the sale. I would highly reccomend this monitor if youre in the marked for an ultrawide monitor at a low price.

  • A good budget screen with compromise

Good monitor for its price, however my model has a dead pixel. The default language and instruction manual is in Korean and therefore I gave up on plug this monitor to my ps4(as it will stretch). But other than that, it's a nice looking monitor.
